FPS provides a range of Tablet Coating Processing Plants which are tailor designed to individual process description, designed for a wide range of batch sizes and processes involved to produce a range of antacids. The basic processes involved in the process are liquid-powder dispersion, aqueous phase preparation, and homogenization for final smooth texture.
An antacid is a substance which neutralizes stomach acidity and is used to relieve heartburn, indigestion or an upset stomach. Some antacids have been used in the treatment of constipation and diarrhoea. Currently marketed antacids contain salts of aluminium, calcium, magnesium, or sodium.

Double jacketed cylindrical tank with torrispherical dish end both at top and bottom comprising of a propeller type stirrer/anchor agitator which is provided for agitating the liquid and preparing a homogeneous phase.
B.1. Batch High Shear Homogenizer is used for wet milling, dispersion and de-agglomeration of the powders into the liquids.
B.2. Specially designed Multi-Stage Inline High Shear Homogenizer is assembled in line with the Homogenization Vessel along with a re-circulation loop for uniform mixing, reduced particle size and texture improvement.
The electrical control panel comprising of suitable starters, relays, switches, etc along with controls, indication of various parameters. May be Semi-Automatic with IP-55 panel or automatic with PLC based panel comprising of HMI display.
